Reflecting on 2025: The Year of AI
"It’s no longer just moving information around; it’s solving complex problems and acting as a genuine creative partner."
As we wind down for the year, the intense pace of business usually starts to settle. We get the chance to switch gears from doing to being, spending time with family and friends, and recharging our batteries.
Reflecting on 2025, it has undeniably been the year of AI. The pace of innovation has been breathtaking.
The Highlights Reel of 2025
If you blinked, you might have missed some of the seismic shifts this year:
Gemini 3
Google’s latest release has moved us from "chatbots" to true "intelligent agents." With its new "Deep Think" reasoning capabilities, it’s no longer just moving information around; it’s solving complex problems and acting as a genuine creative partner.
Tesla’s FSD Evolution
We’ve seen Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (v14.2) take massive strides toward unsupervised autonomy. It’s handling complex weather and genuinely starting to feel "sentient" in its decision-making, a reminder of how AI is mastering the physical world, not just the digital one.
Salesforce Agentforce
This was the game-changer for our sector. The release of Agentforce (and the new Agentforce 360 features) marked the moment AI stopped being a "sidebar" tool and became a core member of the team. We now have agents that don’t just talk, they do. They update records, draft emails, and handle the administrative heavy lifting.
But here is the irony...
With all this technology, my biggest takeaway from 2025 isn’t about code or algorithms. It’s about connection.
Working with nonprofits and SMEs this year, I’ve seen that while AI is incredible at processing data and summarising records, it cannot replace the empathy, intuition, and shared laughter of a human team.
In fact, that is exactly why I am so passionate about AI heading into 2026.
"We don't implement AI to replace people. We implement it to handle the routine — the data entry, the searching, the summarising — so that you can get back to the most impactful, human side of your mission."
So, as you head into this holiday season, I hope you can switch off the "process" part of your brain. The technology will still be here when you return, and so will AgentFix, to support you on your AI journey.
Merry Christmas, and here is to a human-first 2026.
