Hello everyone, I’m James Cowley, and having just proudly become the General Manager here at AgentFix, I’m excited to share a bit about my journey and vision.
AI is a rapidly expanding field that we need to embrace and continually learn from. AI shouldn’t be feared, but we do need to recognise its limitations and have clear structures in place to ensure that we use it safely and in a controlled way. This philosophy is at the heart of AgentFix, where our team and I are focused on one thing: helping our clients get safe and sustainable value from AI.
Beyond the Code: My Personal Take
My journey into AI wasn’t a straight line, but it’s consistently been driven by a fascination with how it can help us progress and flourish as humans. This also ties into my deep focus on human connection. Early in my career, I learned the power of strong interpersonal relationships and the importance of understanding who you want to help, and why. For me, AI isn’t just about speed, efficiency, and information, it’s about leveraging its capabilities to enhance human creativity and foster deeper connections.
Outside of the world of algorithms and data, you’ll often find me focused on music. I find it has a unique way to make you fully present or evoke a strong memory and take you fully away from the present. What I love about music is how it combines creativity with underlying order. In many ways, this reflects my view for AI: a creative tool based on underlying principles that can be used to enhance our humanity, foster connection and allow us to create better outcomes.
Supporting The Client: Our Approach
AgentFix grew out of an early observation we made and one that very much resonated with my own experiences of building strong foundations – organisations were jumping straight to AI build without the proper groundwork in place. We realised that to succeed with AI, businesses first needed to be “AI Ready”. This meant establishing robust governance, a clear strategy, and equipping staff with the right knowledge and skills, before diving into solutions and building.
Our role became clear: to be the trusted advisor guiding organisations to implement AI effectively. Just as I’d learned the importance of foundational relationships in my own leadership journey, this realisation led us to develop our clear, step-by-step framework, prioritising this essential groundwork that many others overlooked.
AgentFix built on the expertise gained from SalesFix, and while SalesFix continues to deliver excellence in Salesforce consulting and business process design, AgentFix extends our support beyond the Salesforce ecosystem, assisting your business wherever you are in your digital transformation journey, with a focus on AI strategy, governance, and staff empowerment.
What’s Next: Our Vision For The Next 12 Months
Over the next 12 months, our focus at AgentFix will be on strengthening our partnerships with clients and enabling more organisations to successfully integrate AI into their operations.
Our aim is to continually expand our support, enhance our get “AI Ready” services, and ultimately help clients achieve their business goals by fully leveraging AI’s potential. Becoming “AI Ready” is not just a starting point; it’s the first step for continuous development.
